Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to Visit Punjab from November 21

Punjab (The Uttam Hindu): Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will visit Punjab from November 21, during which he will participate in several events focused on interfaith harmony, youth engagement and community development.
On November 23, he will take part in the Sarva Dharam Sammelan at Sri Anandpur Sahib. The event, organised by the Punjab Government is being held to mark the 350th martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will arrive in Pathankot on November 21 for the “Naya Josh Naya Punjab” programme organised by the Kavita and Vinod Khanna Foundation in collaboration with the Art of Living. The event will bring together youth, teachers, volunteers and village representatives from different regions. It will showcase ongoing work in sports, mental health, drug de-addiction awareness and community resilience. Activities highlighted will include daily football and volleyball coaching in 167 villages in partnership with the RoundGlass Foundation, the Art of Living’s “Har Ghar Dhyan” initiative, life skills programmes for youth and flood relief efforts. A football match between teams trained under these initiatives will also be held.
On November 22, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will conduct a meditation and music programme titled “Soaking in Bliss” in Zirakpur. The event, scheduled at the Palms Banquet is expected to draw a large gathering of followers for an evening of meditation, knowledge sessions and musical performances.
The Art of Living stated that Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s visit is expected to bring renewed enthusiasm to youth and community-based programmes across Punjab. According to the organisation, ongoing initiatives by volunteers, partner foundations and local groups aim to support his vision of promoting peace, wellbeing and service across the state.
