Halwara airport flight schedule updated: New timings announced for Delhi flights
The changes aim to provide better connectivity for business travelers and international passengers transiting through Delhi

Ludhiana (The Uttam Hindu): Passengers preparing to fly from Ludhiana's Halwara Airport to Delhi starting May 15th have a crucial update. Air India has significantly altered its flight timings even before the flight service resumes. Sharing details of this new schedule, Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu explained that the flight timings have been changed to accommodate the convenience and demand of local industrialists, ensuring that business and general travelers can travel without hassle.
Now the first flight will take off from Delhi at this time
According to the new and updated flight schedule, the first flight from Delhi to Halwara will depart at 7:55 am and arrive in Ludhiana at 9:45 am. The first return flight from Halwara Airport to Delhi will then take off at 10:25 am and land at Delhi Airport at 11:40 am. This change will significantly reduce the unnecessary rush for passengers and allow them to reach their connecting flights comfortably.
There was no change in the afternoon and evening flights
While the morning flight schedule has been completely changed, the afternoon and evening flights remain unchanged. As per the previously scheduled schedule, the afternoon flight will depart from Delhi at 12:55 PM and arrive in Halwara at 2:10 PM. The return flight will depart from Ludhiana at 2:40 PM and arrive in Delhi at 3:55 PM.
The Union Minister took action on the demand of businessmen
The main reason behind this change in flight timings was the practical difficulties faced by local entrepreneurs. Ravneet Singh Bittu explained that Ludhiana businessmen were finding it difficult to catch flights from Delhi at 5:55 am and then receive them at the airport at 7 am. Furthermore, there was a significant gap in the timings of connecting flights to foreign countries. In light of these difficulties, the Union Minister directly raised the issue with the Civil Aviation Minister, following which the Airports Authority of India (AAI) immediately approved the new schedule.
