Harbhajan Singh ETO confident of massive AAP victory in Tarn Taran

Tarn Taran (The Uttam Hindu): Punjab Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO today expressed confidence that AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu will register a historic victory in the Tarn Taran by-election to be held on November 11.

The Minister said that the Aam Aadmi Party is actively reaching out to the people in villages and wards, and the response from the public has been overwhelming. “People have witnessed the unprecedented development and pro-people policies of the Bhagwant Mann government over the last three and a half years. There is tremendous goodwill for AAP, and the people are determined to ensure the victory of Harmeet Singh Sandhu by a huge margin,” said ETO.

Lashing out at the Congress leadership, Harbhajan Singh ETO strongly condemned the casteist remarks made by Punjab Congress President Raja Warring against Late Union Minister S. Buta Singh, calling it “shameful and reflective of Congress’s feudal mindset.”

He reminded that even LoP Partap Singh Bajwa had once remarked, “What kind of material has reached the Vidhan Sabha”, showing how Congress leaders perceive the Dalit community as “material” rather than human beings.

The Minister also condemned the highly objectionable act of Congress leaders Partap Bajwa and Sukhwinder Singh Denny Wadala, who recently held a rally where they hurt the religious sentiments of people by placing photographs of their leaders and candidate above the image of Amar Shaheed Baba Jeevan Singh Ji.

“This exposes the regressive and arrogant mindset of Congress’s dynastic politicians. I urge members of the Dalit and Scheduled Caste communities to socially boycott Congress and reject their divisive politics,” ETO added.
