Inspired by the Work of the AAP Government, Many Leaders Joins AAP, Major Boost to Harmeet Sandhu’s Campaign

Tarn Taran (The Uttam Hindu): AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu’s campaign for the Tarn Taran Assembly by-election received a significant boost today as dozens of leaders and youth leaders from various parties joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). A large group, led by Akali Dal Trade Wing President Sardar Mukhtiar Singh Sandhu, expressed full confidence in the policies of the AAP government.
During a press conference held in Tarn Taran, AAP Punjab Working President Sherry Kalsi, Cabinet Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar, MP Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer, and Cabinet Minister Barinder Goyal formally welcomed all the leaders into the party. Encouraged by Anju Verma and Kulwinder Kaur, several leaders from Ward No. 10, village Muradpura Kalan, and other areas of the city, including Raman Sandhu, Jaj Singh, Ramandeep Kaur, Harsh Kapoor, Shiv Singh, and Naresh Gill, became part of the AAP family.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar said that these young people, despite working hard in traditional parties, were feeling ignored, but now they have joined the real party where hard work is valued. He said that people are joining AAP, pleased with the historic initiatives of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, such as providing over 56,000 jobs without bribery or recommendations, making electricity bills zero for 90% of households, and launching ₹10 lakh health insurance cards.
Cabinet Minister Barinder Goyal said that AAP has changed the long-standing perception in Punjab that jobs can only be obtained through money or recommendations. Now, employment is being given on the basis of merit, which has also reduced the trend of youth migrating abroad. AAP leaders said that the people of Tarn Taran will vote based solely on performance and will ensure a massive victory for Harmeet Singh Sandhu to send him to the Vidhan Sabha.
