Jalandhar court rules Atishi video shared by Kapil Mishra is fake

Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu) – A Jalandhar court has issued a significant ruling in the case involving a video of Aam Aadmi Party MLA and former Delhi Chief Minister Atishi. The court ruled that the viral video of Atishi had been doctored. A forensic investigation report stated that the video was edited.

The court also directed all social media platforms to remove Atishi's video. It also ordered the deletion of all links to the accounts that posted the video. In this case, the Delhi Assembly Speaker had issued notices to Jalandhar Police Commissioner Dhanpreet Kaur and three Punjab Police officers, seeking their response and a lab report. During the hearing in the Jalandhar court, the court issued a significant order directing the immediate removal of the video from all social media platforms.

The court clearly stated that all links to the account from which the video was uploaded should be removed. This order was passed after forensic tests confirmed that the video had been manipulated, a move considered a major setback for the BJP.
