Congress Faces Major Setback in Ludhiana West! Hundreds Join Aam Aadmi Party

Ludhiana(The Uttam Hindu): Ahead of the Ludhiana West Assembly by-election, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab dealt a major blow to the Congress. On Thursday, hundreds of Congress leaders and several local social workers joined the AAP.

AAP Punjab's Working President, Amansher Singh Shery Kalsi, formally inducted all the new leaders into the party in the presence of AAP MLA Narinderpal Singh, State Secretary Harchand Singh Barsat, Dr. S.S. Ahluwalia, Ranjodh Hadana, and other party officials.

Prominent among those who joined the party included Deepak Chhanalia, Pawan Kumar, Varun Kumar, Aditya, Dhillon, Vishal, Aniket, and Ayush from Haibowal, Ward no. 63.

Similarly, Manish Kumar, Chairman of the Congress OBC Wing, and Dikshit Nanda, General Secretary of Youth Congress, also joined the Aam Aadmi Party along with several of their associates. They were joined by Mandeep Singh, Lakshya Jawaddi, Manu Mehal, Sonu Yadav, Rishi Taneja, Gurmeet Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Harpreet Singh, Amandeep Singh, and Gurjinder Singh, among others.

In addition, Ludhiana’s young social worker and Vice Chairman of the New Young Bhimrao Foundation, Shubham Chauhan, joined the party with dozens of his associates. Industrialists R.K. Sharma, Jyoti Bajaj, Kanwal Bajaj, Sandeep Arora, Parminder Singh, Atam Kalra, C.A. Lokesh Bhakoo, and Parminder Singh also pledged their support to AAP.

Addressing the media on the occasion, Shery Kalsi said that the people of Punjab continue to place their trust in the AAP government. People from every community and section of society are supporting the party's policies, and a large number of individuals are joining Aam Aadmi Party every day. He remarked that there is a wave of support for AAP in Ludhiana West, expressing confidence that the party will win this election by a significant margin and break the record of the Jalandhar West by-election victory.
