Ludhiana (The Uttam Hindu) : The discovery of a young man's body, cut into pieces, inside a drum in an empty plot near Sacred Heart School on the Jalandhar bypass in Ludhiana caused a stir. Part of the body was burned, while the rest was found inside a white drum. Passersby, noticing the foul smell and suspicious circumstances, alerted the police, following which police and forensic teams arrived at the scene.

The deceased had returned from Mumbai two days earlier. The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Davinder, a resident of Bharti Colony, Ludhiana. Davinder was a computer engineer and had been supervising machinery-related work in Mumbai for the past five months. He had returned home from Mumbai two days earlier, but after staying at home for just 15 minutes, he left, saying he needed a "cut," and never returned.

Davinder was married and had a seven-month-old daughter. His body, cut into three pieces, was found in an empty plot this morning, leaving the family in deep grief.
