Major Shift in Punjab Politics: Thandal Returns to SAD, Navjot Kaur Eyes Congress Entry

Ludhiana (The Uttam Hindu)- Punjab Politics: Two important news related to Punjab politics came out on Thursday. Sohan Singh Thandal, an old associate of Shiromani Akali Dal and who joined BJP during the Lok Sabha elections, has again joined Shiromani Akali Dal. Sohan Singh Thandal returned to Akali Dal under the leadership of party president Sukhbir Singh Badal in Ludhiana and said that Shiromani Akali Dal is the only party that talks about Punjab, Punjabis and Punjabiat.

Punjab Politics: Party President Sukhbir Singh Badal welcomed Sohan Singh Thandal into the party. On the other hand, Navjot Singh Sidhu's wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu has announced that she will contest the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections if the Congress party gives her a ticket.
