Phagwara (The Uttam Hindu): A mega blood donation camp is being organized on December 14 (Sunday) at Ashish Continental, G.T. Road, Phagwara, by Navya Helping Hand, an initiative affiliated with the Sampla Foundation. The event is being held in the loving memory of Baby Navya, the daughter of senior BJP leader Ashu Sampla.

The banner for this mega camp was launched today by former Union Minister and ex-Chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes, Vijay Sampla. During the interaction, Ashu Sampla shared that his beloved daughter, Navya Sampla, passed away at the tender age of two and a half due to the unavailability of timely blood supply. This tragic incident motivated him to establish the Sampla Foundation and Navya Helping Hand to promote blood donation and save lives.

This year, on Navya’s 12th birth anniversary, the blood donation camp will be held at Ashish Continental (Gupta Palace) from 9 AM to 5 PM. Ashu Sampla appealed to all residents of the region to participate wholeheartedly and donate blood to ensure that no patient ever loses their life due to lack of blood.
