Minister Tarunpreet Sond Appeals to Tarn Taran Voters to Support Harmeet Sandhu

Tarn Taran (The Uttam Hindu): Punjab Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond today lauded the Bhagwant Mann government for establishing a new model of governance based on equality, compassion, and humanity. He said that the Mann government has truly lived up to the message of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, that no one is an enemy, and all are equal in the eyes of God.

Sond highlighted how the Mann government has gone beyond politics to serve every section of society, irrespective of religion or caste. “Under the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme, people of all religions, Sikhs, Hindus, Muslims, and Christians, are being taken on free pilgrimages to their holy places. This is not just a religious initiative but a message of unity and mutual respect,” he said.

The minister noted that the government has also launched a ₹10 lakh health insurance scheme for every family and provided ₹693 crore financial assistance to over 6.65 lakh widows and destitute women, ensuring dignity and social security for all.

Sond said that this spirit of service and equality must continue in Tarn Taran. “This election is about choosing humanity over hate, equality over division. The Mann government has worked for everyone, now it’s time for Tarn Taran to strengthen this honest, people-centric governance,” he said.

He appealed to the people to vote overwhelmingly for AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu, ensuring that Tarn Taran continue to be a proud partner in Punjab’s journey of unity, dignity, and development.
