Nitin Kohli Announces ₹5.10 Crore Road Development Project for Surya Enclave
Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu): Nitin Kohli, the Aam Aadmi Party's in-charge for the Jalandhar Central constituency, has announced a long-awaited road improvement plan for Surya Enclave. Under his leadership, proposals worth an estimated ₹5.10 crore have been approved for road construction and repair in the area. Thanks to Nitin Kohli's efforts, this colony was transferred from the Improvement Trust to the Jalandhar Municipal Corporation. Now, due to his persistent efforts, road construction work is set to begin in this colony at a cost of ₹5.10 crore. This move is being seen as a significant step towards developing safe, smooth and modern road infrastructure in the area.
Under the approved plan, the main road near Central Sadan in Surya Enclave will be strengthened using advanced road construction techniques. Additionally, repair and renovation work will also be carried out on the internal roads of Surya Enclave, which is expected to provide significant relief to local residents in their daily commutes.
According to Nitin Kohli, the main objective of the Surya Enclave road improvement plan is to develop a safe and robust road network in the area. His vision is that development should not be limited to large projects but should also ensure the renovation of every street and road to provide citizens with smooth travel. He stated that all work is being carried out according to technical standards and quality guidelines, and continuous monitoring of the project is being ensured.

Last month, thanks to the persistent efforts of Aam Aadmi Party's Jalandhar Central constituency in-charge Nitin Kohli, Surya Enclave and Maharaja Ranjit Singh Avenue were formally handed over to the Jalandhar Municipal Corporation, paving the way for development work that had been stalled for 18 years.
