Toronto (The Uttam Hindu)– In a heartwarming reunion filled with nostalgia and camaraderie, a group of school friends from Jalandhar, Punjab came together in Toronto after a gap of 25 years. The occasion was marked by a special dinner at TK Ultra Lounge, hosted by Robbie Pruthi, a well-known name in the Greater Toronto Area’s real estate sector in honor of his longtime friend Ritin Khanna, who was visiting Canada for the first time.

Robbie Pruthi was joined by his elder brother Simarjit Pruthi, a seasoned realtor and passionate musician, and their close friend Amritpal Wadhwan, who has established a successful presence in the Canadian transportation industry.

The evening was not only a celebration of friendship but also a tribute to shared roots and values. The group fondly recalled their school days in Punjab, reminiscing about their journey from the streets of Jalandhar to their respective successes abroad. They also engaged in thoughtful discussions on the current political landscape in both India and Canada, reflecting their continued connection with their homeland.

Ritin Khanna expressed his admiration for the Pruthi brothers, praising their hard work, achievements, and humility. “Despite earning great recognition here, both Robbie and Simarjit remain deeply grounded and strongly connected to the Punjabi community and our cultural roots,” Khanna said.

Adding a musical touch to the evening, Simarjit Pruthi, known for his love of music since college, sang a few soulful Punjabi songs, earning applause from all present.

The reunion stood as a testament to enduring friendships, cultural pride, and the inspiring journeys of the Punjabi diaspora making their mark across the world.
