Panjab University Chandigarh's brilliant performance in the Inter-University Youth Festival

Chandigarh(The Uttam Hindu): Panjab University Chandigarh performed brilliantly and won the second runner-up trophy in the Inter-University Youth Festival organized by the Youth Services Department Punjab at Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar. 21 universities participated in this youth festival.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Renu Vig congratulated all the students, team in-charges and Director of Youth Welfare Department Dr. Sukhjinder Rishi on this achievement of Panjab University.

In the Inter-University Youth Festival, Panjab University won first place in Bhangra, second place in Jhumra, third place in Sammi and second place in Classical Dance. In Theater, it won first place in Mimicry and third place in Drama and Mime. In the heritage competitions, they secured first place in six categories, second place in five and third place in five. Among the music items, they secured first place in Sarangi playing, second place in Tabla playing and Ghazal and third place in Long Hek songs and Group Shabad.

Director of Youth Welfare Department Dr. Sukhjinder Rishi congratulated the Principal, Teacher Incharges, Cultural Coordinators, Administrative Secretaries and students.
