Ludhiana (The Uttam Hindu): In Ludhiana, Punjab, the Innova car of a family returning after their daughter's wedding collided with a truck. Due to this, the bride's parents and aunt died. The condition of two relatives remains critical. The family is from Sirhind in Fatehgarh Sahib. The groom is from Jalandhar. For this reason, they had organized the ceremony at a marriage palace in Ludhiana. They were returning home from there. After receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started investigating the accident.

Ashok Nanda, a businessman from Sirhind, had arranged his daughter's wedding in Jalandhar. Stallone Manor Palace in Ludhiana was booked for the wedding. The wedding ceremony took place on Sunday-Monday night. The bride's farewell took place on Monday morning. After this, the bride's family happily began preparing to return home.

When their car reached near a fabric company in village Khakat, suddenly a truck moving ahead applied brakes. As soon as the truck applied brakes, the Innova collided with its rear. Due to high speed, it kept dragging for several meters. Due to this, all five people in the car got injured. The bride's father Ashok Nanda, mother Kiran Nanda and aunt Renu Bala died while being taken to the hospital.

Meanwhile, Mohan Nanda and Sharmilee Nanda, who were injured in the incident, remain in critical condition. They have been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Ludhiana. The funeral of the three deceased will be held today. Police have filed a case against the truck driver and are searching for him.

The bride's palanquin had just reached the Ladowal toll plaza on the Jalandhar-Ludhiana border and as soon as the accident was known, the car carrying the palanquin also immediately turned back towards Sirhind.
