Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu) – Punjab Congress President Amarinder Raja Warring, who faced backlash for making racist and casteist remarks against former Union Home Minister S. Buta Singh, is embroiled in a new controversy. The latest development stems from a video shared by SAD supremo Sukhbir Badal on his Facebook page. In it, Amarinder Raja Warring is seen joking about the cases of two Sikh children.

In the video, Raja Warring is seen touching children's hair with both hands and speaking in a joking manner. The SGPC has described this as an insult to the religious sentiments of the Sikh community and an act of deliberate mockery of children. The SGPC has requested the SSP of Tarn Taran to register an FIR against Raja Warring under relevant sections and take appropriate action.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann stated that the State Congress Chief has lost his mental balance, leading to irresponsible and irrational statements. He stated that such meaningless statements are not made by an ordinary or sensible person. He added that the State Congress Chief, sensing his party's clear defeat in the Tarn Taran elections, is distraught, leading him to resort to such despicable acts. Mann stated that the discovery of VVPAT and EVM slips from garbage dumps and the homes of BJP leaders, respectively, raises serious questions about the functioning of the Election Commission of India, as well as the conduct of free and fair elections.
