Amid Punjab Flood Tragedy, CM Bhagwant Mann’s Health Deteriorates; Kejriwal Rushes to Meet Him

Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s health condition deteriorated on Thursday, creating concern at a time when the state is grappling with devastating floods. According to sources, a team of doctors has been rushed to the CM’s residence for immediate medical attention.
The sudden health scare forced uncertainty over the Chief Minister’s scheduled visits to Gurdaspur and other flood-hit districts, where he was expected to review relief measures and meet affected families.
Adding to the political drama, AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal also reached the CM’s residence to inquire about his health. Kejriwal was supposed to accompany Mann in flood-hit areas today, but the joint tour now hangs in suspense.
For the past several days, Bhagwant Mann has been personally visiting flood-affected regions, supervising relief and rehabilitation efforts. With large parts of Punjab still submerged, his absence from the ground could impact ongoing operations.
As of now, doctors continue to monitor his condition closely, while no official statement has been released on the seriousness of his illness. The situation has left both the government machinery and the public anxious at a critical juncture for Punjab.
