Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu) : A major revelation has been made in the murder case of Naveen Arora, grandson of an RSS leader in Ferozepur. Police have arrested two of the accused, while two others are still at large. SSP Ferozepur Bhupinder Singh stated that the accused were paid ₹1 lakh each for the murder.

Three days ago, criminals shot Naveen at close range and killed him in a busy city market. Initial investigations have revealed that the Khalistani organization "Sher-e-Punjab Brigade" claimed responsibility for the murder on social media. The organization wrote, "The leader of the Hindutva gang has been taught a lesson."

According to SSP Bhupinder Singh, the accused, Kanav and Harsh, had been constantly stalking Naveen, and the entire murder plot was hatched at Kanav's home. A total of four accused were directly involved in the crime. Of these, Kanav and Harsh were arrested on Wednesday. Both confessed to their roles during interrogation. Two other accused, Jatin and Kali, are still at large. Special teams have been formed to search for them.

The SSP said that Jatin and Kali initially tried to persuade Kanav and Harsh to do the recce for 5,000 rupees each, but they refused. They then offered them 100,000 rupees each, after which the four conspired to murder Naveen. Investigations revealed that the accused had purchased the weapons from Uttar Pradesh. It is being reported that Naveen Arora and Jatin and Kali had a long-standing dispute, which the police are confirming.
