SAD Punarsurjit in turmoil: Barjinder Singh Brar quits, accuses Giani Harpreet & Ayali of colluding with govt

Moga (The Uttam Hindu): Shiromani Akali Dal (Punarsurjit) leader Barjinder Singh Brar has resigned from all party positions and primary membership. He announced his resignation in a social media post. He also made serious and sensational allegations against Giani Harpreet Singh and Manpreet Singh Ayali of colluding with central agencies and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab to mislead the community and Punjab. Brar's move and his claims have shaken Punjab politics.

'A game played behind the scenes in connivance with agencies'

In his post, Brar claimed that in the past, a massive conspiracy was hatched by some individuals, using the name of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Ji to emotionally mobilize the community, which was later renamed the Shiromani Akali Dal (Punarsurjit). He said that as time passed, he discovered the dangerous behind-the-scenes games that were constantly hidden from the Panth and Punjab. According to Brar, central forces hatched a conspiracy to eliminate the Panth's representative organization, which no one even knew about. He alleged that central agencies and the AAP government of Punjab were also key players in this conspiracy, using every possible tactic to weaken the Shiromani Akali Dal.

Iyali's business interests and 'Deputy CM' offer exposed

Launching a scathing and direct attack on Manpreet Singh Ayali, Brar alleged that Ayali, who hails from a Panthic family, played a key role in luring him into this trap. Brar wrote that Ayali maintains complete silence whenever the interests of the Panth and Punjab are discussed. He only speaks out against the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), but never utters a single word against the current government. Brar claimed that Ayali's business interests related to the colonies are behind this, and that he has direct ties with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the central government. Brar also revealed that Ayali had told him several times that he had been offered the position of Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab.

'Gyani Harpreet Singh is acting at the behest of Delhi'

Regarding Giani Harpreet Singh, Brar wrote in his post that the Sangat now knows for themselves that he has used Sri Akal Takht Sahib to destroy the Akali Dal at the behest of central agencies. Brar directly alleges that Giani Harpreet Singh only does and says what he is instructed to do from Delhi. Concluding his post, Brar expressed heavy-hearted regret, saying that he had been observing all this for a long time while in the party, but now his conscience no longer allows him to hide it from the sect. Expressing deep remorse for being a part of this conspiracy to weaken the Akali Dal, Brar announced that in the future, he will present the entire truth to the public, along with all the evidence, in the court of the sect.
