Punjab Hit by Dawn Violence: Showroom Proprietor Killed, Local Community Shaken

Abohar (The Uttam Hindu): The owner of a famous textile business was shot dead outside his shop in Abohar city of Punjab. After this incident, there is an atmosphere of panic in the entire area and there is a lot of anger in the business community. According to the information, as soon as Sanjay was parking his car, three unknown attackers on a bike opened fire on him and fled from the spot.

Seriously injured Sanjay was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. It is being said that the attackers were already present near the shop and were waiting for Sanjay to arrive. Police have recovered four to five shells from the spot and initial investigation suggests a gangster connection to the case.

The accused fled from the spot after the incident

The bike on which the attackers came is also said to be stolen and its number plate was from Punjab. After committing the crime, the accused left their motorcycle on the spot and fled after snatching another motorcycle.

Police engaged in investigation

It is being told that the said showroom is very famous for kurta-pyjamas. This famous firm was run by two brothers named Sanjay and Jagat. There is great anger among the traders due to Sanjay's murder. A large number of traders are protesting in the hospital and demanding immediate arrest of the accused. At present, the police have registered a case and started investigation and CCTV footage of the surrounding area is being examined.
