New Delhi(The Uttam Hindu): The annual awards ceremony for 'Hindi Ki Goonj', the only registered Hindi literary magazine published from Japan, was held on Sunday in a solemn atmosphere at the B.N. Pandey Hall of Gandhi Darshan at Rajghat.

Eminent literary figures, writers and researchers from various parts of the country—Kashmir, Prayagraj, Delhi, Dehradun, Odisha, Panipat—as well as the United States, Russia, Japan, Switzerland and Sri Lanka were present at the ceremony.

On this occasion, Jalandhar-based writer Mrs. Sindhu Rana was honored with the 'Japanese Hindi Seva Samman' for her outstanding literary contributions and sustained creativity. The ceremony was marked by special enthusiasm.


Several national and international literary figures, including Dr. Rama Purnima Sharma, Founder and Chief Patron of 'Hindi Ki Goonj', who arrived from Japan, attended the ceremony and presented the honored authors with garlands, robes, mementos, and certificates.

The message that emerged prominently at the event was that the Hindi language is establishing a strong identity not only in India but also on the world stage. The magazine "Hindi Ki Goonj" is working tirelessly with dedication and commitment to bring Hindi recognition in many countries, including Japan.
