Medical Store Owner Shot Dead in Ajnala: Police Scan CCTV, Seek Arrests

Amritsar (The Uttam Hindu): A tragic incident occurred late night in Ajnala, Amritsar, where a medical store owner was shot dead. The deceased has been identified as Taranjit Singh. Taranjit Singh was returning home after closing his medical store when he was fired upon indiscriminately. Attackers fled the spot after firing bullets. Taranjit Singh died due to bullet injuries on the spot.

Police have recovered 5 bullet shells from the spot and are investigating the case. Investigating officer Harchand Singh stated that nearby CCTV cameras are being scanned and teams have started working to investigate the case. The accused will be arrested soon. Taranjit Singh's brother Karamjit Singh revealed that they had received threats over the phone about a year ago. A complaint was also lodged with the police regarding these threats. The family of Taranjit Singh is seeking justice and wants the police to catch the attackers as soon as possible.
