Tarn Taran(The Uttam Hindu): Ahead of the Tarn Taran Assembly by-election, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) received a major political boost as hundreds of families from Jhabal Pukhta and Adda Chabal announced their decision to join the party. Cabinet Minister Barinder Goyal formally inducted all these families into AAP. The joining ceremony was held under the leadership of Sarpanch Monu Cheema, MLA from Payal Manwinder Singh Giaspura, and Chairman Ranjodh Singh Hadana.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Minister Barinder Goyal said that today, a large number of women, mothers, and sisters have become part of the AAP family, which has significantly strengthened the party at the grassroots level. He praised the hard work of local leaders Monu Cheema, MLA Giaspura, and Chairman Hadana for making this massive joining possible. Goyal asserted that with the support of these families, the victory of AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu has become completely certain.

Minister Goyal assured the newly joined families that they would always be treated with full respect and dignity within the party. He said that today, the entire Tarn Taran constituency stands firmly in support of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. He attributed this to Arvind Kejriwal’s vision and the historic work accomplished by the Mann Government in the past nearly four years. He said that the work done by the AAP government in such a short period could not be achieved by the previous governments even in 70 years of their rule.

Taking a jibe at the opposition parties, Goyal said that today, other parties have nothing to tell the people. They are merely seeking different excuses, some are asking for votes in the name of soldiers, while others are doing so in the name of religion. He said that people are well aware under whose governments the sacrilege incidents took place. He added that the real heirs of Punjab are not those politicians, but our mothers and sisters, who will make their decision through the power of their vote.

He said that AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu has already served this constituency three times before. He appealed to the people to ensure Sandhu’s victory with a huge margin so that he can further accelerate the pace of development work in the constituency and help realize Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s dream of a ‘Rangla Punjab’.
