Tarn Taran(The Uttam Hindu): Harmeet Singh Sandhu, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Tarn Taran, said that the Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is guarding the spirit of the Gurus and is committed to connecting the younger generation with its rich heritage and history. While interacting with the people of the Tarn Taran constituency, he praised the seminars organized by the Punjab School Education Board to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.

Seminars held on a historic route

Harmeet Singh Sandhu said that these seminars were held on the historic route where Bhai Jaita Ji brought the sacred head of Guru Tegh Bahadur from Delhi to Sri Anandpur Sahib. He said that during these three-day seminars, which ran from November 3rd to 7th, over 2,600 students participated and gained valuable information about the life, teachings, and great sacrifice of "Hind ki Chadar" Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.

Government also emphasizes moral development

The AAP candidate said that such efforts not only educate students about history but also inspire them to stand up for truth and justice. He said that the Mann government is paying close attention to the moral development of children, along with education, to build a better society. He appealed to the residents of the constituency to support such a constructive government and ensure the victory of AAP for the all-round development of Tarn Taran.
