Three officers promoted in Punjab Information and Public Relations department

Chandigarh(The Uttam Hindu): Three officers have been promoted in the Punjab Information and Public Relations Department. Deputy Director Shikha Nehra has been promoted to the post of Joint Director. Shikha Nehra is the first woman officer in the department to have served as Deputy Director in Patiala and Bathinda.

Similarly, Narinder Pal Singh Jagdeo, who was serving as Information and Public Relations Officer with Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond and the Chief Electoral Officer of Punjab, has been promoted to Deputy Director.

Sherjang Singh Hundal, District Public Relations Officer of Amritsar, has also been promoted to Deputy Director. It is noteworthy that the departmental promotion committee had approved the names of all three officers for promotion in the first week of January, following which these officers have assumed their new positions.
