Tragic accident claims lives of mother and 2-year-old child in Punjab as car crashes into truck

Barnala (The Uttam Hindu): A horrific road accident occurred on the Barnala-Bathinda National Highway. A car rear-ended a truck near the Ghunnas Drain. The impact was so severe that the car was completely destroyed. A mother and her two-year-old daughter tragically died in the horrific accident, while the father is seriously injured and battling for his life.
According to reports, Manglesh Garg, a resident of Model Town, Tapa, was returning to his home in Tapa from Barnala with his wife, Vishali, and two-year-old daughter, Myra. On the way, their car collided with a truck near Ghunnas Drain. The accident was so devastating that all three occupants were trapped inside. Road safety personnel, who arrived at the scene after receiving information from passersby, cut open the car with a gas cutter and, with great difficulty, freed the three.
The injured were immediately taken to Barnala Civil Hospital, where doctors declared two-year-old Myra dead. Given the critical condition of Manglesh and his wife Vishali, they were referred to Ludhiana after first aid. Vishali also succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment in Ludhiana. Manglesh Garg is currently undergoing treatment at Ludhiana's DMC Hospital, where his condition is reported to be critical. Police arrived at the scene and began investigating the incident, trying to determine the exact cause of the accident.
