Tragic accident in Punjab: Car hits tree, three dead and four injured

Jaito (The Uttam Hindu) - Two women and a child travelling in an uncontrolled car died on the spot and four others were seriously injured when the car hit a tree near village Chandbhan on Jaito-Bathinda road in Punjab on Sunday.

Social worker Sandeep Sonu Lumba said the car occupants were returning home from a wedding ceremony in Jaito when the accident occurred. The deceased were reportedly from Chandbhan village in the Jaito subdivision. The injured were taken to Seth Ramnath Civil Hospital in Jaito but were later transferred to Kotkapura Civil Hospital.
