‘We will blow up the CM with a human bomb’: Mohali schools evacuated after threat mail

Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu) - Mohali was shaken on Wednesday morning when several schools and colleges received bomb threats via email. The email, sent around 7:30 a.m., warned of an explosion at 1:11 p.m. The Punjab Chief Minister was also threatened. The email also mentioned a bomb blast at the Parliament House in New Delhi on February 13th.
Police and bomb squads on the scene
Upon receiving information about the threat, Mohali Police issued a high alert throughout the district. Bomb squads and police teams immediately arrived at various schools. School premises were evacuated and the surrounding area sealed. Senior officers also arrived at the scene and oversaw the investigation. Upon receiving information, the school management immediately informed the police and declared a holiday as a precautionary measure.

In the threatening mail, it was said that Punjab is now Khalistan. There will be a bomb blast in the schools and colleges of Mohali at 1:11 pm. Along with this, there was a mention of blowing up CM Bhagwant Mann with a human bomb. It is further written that the youth of Punjab are being massacred on the orders of Hindu terrorist Modi. After this, it is said in the mail that on February 13, at 2:11 pm, a bomb will explode in the Indian Parliament of Delhi. In which the target will be Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Instead of the names of the senders, Khalistan National Army, Engineer Gurnakh Singh, Rukn Shahwala have been written.
