New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Another sensational revelation has emerged in the investigation into the November 10 car bomb blast near the Red Fort in the capital, Delhi. Investigative agencies have uncovered a terrorist bomb-making factory in Faridabad, adjacent to Delhi. Machines used by Dr. Muzammil, a co-accused in the bombing, to prepare explosives have been recovered from a taxi driver's home.

According to sources, Muzammil Shakeel Ganai, a Pulwama resident and doctor by profession, used a simple flour mill and grinder to prepare chemicals for explosives. Investigations have revealed that Muzammil used this mill to grind urea and prepare a mixture of other dangerous chemicals.

These machines, along with some electronic equipment, were recovered from the house of a taxi driver in Faridabad, pictures of which have now surfaced. 360 kg of explosives have already been recovered. Accused Muzammil Ganai was arrested just before the blast near the Red Fort. Police raided his rented room on November 9 and recovered 360 kg of ammonium nitrate and other explosive materials from there.

Ganai, a former doctor at Al-Falah University in Faridabad, had been preparing explosives using these machines in his room for a long time. He had grown close to the driver on the pretext of treating his son. The National Investigation Agency (NIA), which is investigating the case, has detained the taxi driver from whose home the machines were recovered.

During interrogation, the driver revealed that he first met Ganai four years ago when he went to Al-Falah Medical College for his son's treatment. The NIA is now thoroughly investigating whether the taxi driver was used unknowingly or was part of the conspiracy. It is also investigating how and when the machines arrived at his home.
