Him Academy's Yashovardhan Atri to lead Himachal Pradesh yoga team at SGFI in Digha, West Bengal from Jan 25

Shimla(The Uttam Hindu): In the School National Games (SGFI) Under-19 competition starting from January 25th in Digha Purba, West Bengal, the Himachal Pradesh women's and men's yoga teams will be led by Nidhi from Hamirpur and Yashovardhan Atri respectively. The Himachal girls' team will include Captain Nidhi Dogra (Traditional and Artistic Solo Yoga), Shikha and Hina (Artistic Doubles), and Anjali and Shanvi (Rhythmic Doubles Yoga competition). The boys' team will include Yashovardhan Atri, Captain (Traditional Yoga), Akshit in Artistic Solo, Suksham and Abhayansh in Artistic Doubles, and Varun Chandel and Naimish Sharma in Rhythmic Doubles.

Their training camp was held from January 18-21 at Government Senior Secondary School, Parwanoo, Solan district. The Himachal team's Chief-de-Mission is Dr. Prem Sharma, Yoga Teacher, the girls' team coach is Shashi Kumar, DPE, and team manager is Manju Bala, PET. The boys' team coach is Sunil Chandel, PET, and team manager is O.P. Sharma, PET. Chief-de-Mission Dr. Prem Sharma distributed sports kits to the children.
