New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The second match of the ODI series between India and Australia will be played in Adelaide on October 23rd, where Team India will look to level the series with a win. India has played a total of 15 ODIs on this ground so far, winning nine and losing five. One match was tied.

The Indian men's cricket team played its first ODI match on this ground on 23 December 1980, in which it won by 6 runs against New Zealand.

In January 1986, India registered another win here against New Zealand, while losing against Australia.

India played two matches at this ground in December 1991, defeating the West Indies before losing again to Australia. India lost to South Africa by 6 wickets at this ground on March 15, 1992.

India played two matches here in January 2000. On the 25th, they won by 48 runs against Pakistan, but the next day they suffered a crushing 152-run defeat at the hands of Australia.
