Hobart (The Uttam Hindu) : Team India put on a superb performance, defeating Australia by 5 wickets in the third match of the T20 series. With this victory, India has leveled the five-match series 1-1. The fourth match of the series will be played on November 6 in Gold Coast. The first T20 match was washed out due to rain, while Australia won the second match by 4 wickets.

India's strong run chase

Chasing a target of 187 runs, the Indian team showed great composure and achieved the target in 18.3 overs for the loss of 5 wickets. Washington Sundar played an explosive innings of 49 runs in 23 balls, while Jitesh Sharma remained unbeaten after scoring 22 runs in 13 balls. Together, they led the team to victory. Nathan Ellis was the most successful bowler for Australia, taking 3 wickets.

India's bowling performance outweighed the innings of Tim David and Stoinis

Earlier, after India's captain lost the toss, Australia batted first and scored 186 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. Tim David scored 74 runs in 38 balls and Marcus Stoinis played a strong innings of 64 runs in 39 balls. Arshdeep Singh bowled brilliantly for India, taking 3 wickets, while Varun Chakravarthy took 2 and Shivam Dubey took 1 wicket.
