Indore (The Uttam Hindu): A shameful incident has occurred during the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup. Two international players from the Australian women's cricket team were allegedly molested in Indore. The players were reportedly walking from the Radisson Blu Hotel to a cafe when a man on a bike followed them and inappropriately touched one of the players.

The accused youth, wearing a white shirt and a black cap, was following the two players. Suddenly, he pulled his bike close and made indecent advances towards one of the players. Both cricketers, alarmed by the incident, immediately informed their team's security officer, Danny Simmons.


Meanwhile, a passerby in a car saw the players' discomfort and offered help and informed the police. Upon learning of the incident, security agencies and police officials were alarmed. Based on a complaint from security officer Danny Simmons, the MIG police station has registered an FIR and launched an investigation.


This incident involving foreign players has raised international concern. Police have intensified their search for the accused and are examining CCTV footage from the surrounding area. At the same time, questions have been raised about the security arrangements, asking how this incident could have occurred despite such tight security.
