Bihar smashes ODI record: 574/6 - highest total in List A cricket history

Ranchi (The Uttam Hindu) : The Bihar cricket team has set a record in the Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Arunachal Pradesh being played at the JSCA Oval Ground in Ranchi. Batting first, the Bihar cricket team scored 574 runs for 6 wickets. This is the highest total in List A cricket.
Bihar won the toss and elected to bat first. Thanks to centuries from Vaibhav Suryavanshi, captain Sakibul Gani, and Ayush Loharuka, Bihar set a record first-class score. Opening the innings, Vaibhav Suryavanshi reached his century in just 36 balls, scoring 190 runs off 84 balls, studded with 15 sixes and 16 fours. Vaibhav had a chance to score a double century, but was dismissed on the fourth ball of the 27th over. Captain Sakibul Gani scored an unbeaten 128 off 40 balls, studded with 12 sixes and 10 fours. Ayush scored 116 off 56 balls, studded with 8 sixes and 11 fours. Piyush Singh also scored 77 off 66 balls, and Mangal Mahror scored 33 off 43 balls. Thanks to these innings, Bihar scored 574 runs for the loss of 6 wickets and made the highest score in List A cricket.
The previous highest score in List A cricket was in the name of Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu had scored 506 runs for 2 wickets against Arunachal Pradesh in 2022. After this is England.
