New Jersey (The Uttam Hindu): Chelsea has made it to the final of the Club World Cup-2025 by defeating Fluminense 2-0. The hero of this semi-final match was Joao Pedro. This player scored both the goals.

The new member of the 'Blues' scored brilliant goals in both halves to put an end to the hopes of the Brazilian team. Now Chelsea will face the winner of the semi-final match between Real Madrid CF and Paris Saint-Germain.

In a stadium full of over 70,000 fans, Chelsea did not take much time to get a grip on the match. In the first 10 minutes, they dominated the ball and created a few chances. Joao Pedro's first goal came in the 18th minute, he fired a shot from 20 yards into the corner of the goalpost.

In the 25th minute, Hercules created a great chance to score, but Cucurella cleared on the goalline. At the end of the first half, Fluminense got a penalty. Rine's cross hit Chalobah's hand, but the decision was changed after a VAR check.

Joao Pedro scored the second goal of the match in the 56th minute. The 23-year-old headed the ball towards goal and hit the ball over the crossbar into the goalpost.

Joao Pedro started his career with Fluminense. He played 36 matches for the club before coming to England. This is the reason why he did not celebrate much after scoring the goal.

This marks the second consecutive defeat of the Brazilian club by Chelsea, marking the end of the tournament for 2023 Copa Libertadores winners Fluminense. Fluminense stopped Borussia Dortmund in the group stage, then beat Inter Milan. The team defeated Al-Hilal in the quarter-finals, but proved weak against Chelsea.
