New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Guyana Amazon Warriors won the Global Super League title for the first time on Saturday. This team defeated Rangpur Riders by 32 runs in the final. The Rangpur Riders team reached the final for the second consecutive time. This team had won the title last season, but this time it had to be content as the runner-up.

In the title match played in Guyana, Guyana Amazon Warriors won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 196 runs for the loss of four wickets. The team had lost the wicket of Evin Lewis (5) at the score of 21. From here, Johnson Charles put the team in a strong position by making a partnership of 127 runs for the second wicket with Rehmanullah Gurbaz.

Gurbaz returned to the pavilion after scoring 66 runs in 38 balls, which included four sixes and six fours.
