India announce T20 squad for Zimbabwe tour; Vaibhav and Rinku included, Samson misses out
The BCCI has announced India's squad for the Zimbabwe T20 series, with Vaibhav and Rinku earning selection while Sanju Samson misses out.

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced India's squad for the three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe. Shreyas Iyer will lead the side, while Tilak Varma has been named vice-captain. Fifteen-year-old batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi has retained his place in the squad after making his international debut earlier this year.
Rinku Singh has returned to the T20 squad, while Prince Yadav, Yash Thakur, Ashok Sharma, Harsh Dubey and Varun Chakravarthy have also been included. Wicketkeeping responsibilities will be shared by Ishan Kishan and Prabhsimran Singh. However, Sanju Samson, Axar Patel and Ravi Bishnoi have not been selected. The three T20Is will be played in Harare on July 23, 25 and 26.
Meanwhile, the selectors have also made a change to India's ODI squad for the England series. Shivam Dubey has been drafted into the team in place of the injured Nitish Kumar Reddy. Shubman Gill will captain the ODI side with Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah and other senior players retaining their places.
