New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the latest women's rankings on March 17. While there haven't been any major changes in this year's rankings, the good news for Indian fans is that Team India captain Harmanpreet Kaur has managed to improve her position in the ODI rankings. On the other hand, New Zealand's experienced player Sophie Devine has suffered a loss in the rankings. Kiwi star all-rounder Amelia Kerr has made a spectacular entry into the top 20 on the basis of her excellent performance against Zimbabwe. Meanwhile, Team India's reliable batsman Jemimah Rodriguez is firmly holding on to her previous position.

Harmanpreet is at number 7 in ODIs, Mandhana is at the top

Captain Harmanpreet Kaur has made a remarkable jump of one place in the ICC Women's ODI batting rankings. With this significant improvement, she now sits at No. 7 with 652 rating points. Much to the delight of Indian cricket fans, star opener Smriti Mandhana continues her dominance in world cricket. With 790 rating points, Mandhana has held the No. 1 position for quite some time. Meanwhile, Sophie Devine has dropped two places, dropping from No. 7 to No. 9. She is shared at No. 9 with Australian legend Ellyse Perry, who has also improved her ranking by one place. Jemimah Rodriguez remains at No. 12 with 635 rating points, while Amelia Kerr, who was ranked No. 22 in the previous rankings, has jumped to No. 19.

Mandhana and Shefali shine in T20 rankings too

The latest rankings for women's T20 Internationals show no change in the top 10. Even in this fast-paced format, Indian vice-captain Smriti Mandhana continues to dominate, holding on to her second spot. Australia's powerful batsman Beth Mooney reigns supreme in the T20I rankings with 787 rating points, while Mandhana is just behind her in second place with 770. India's young and aggressive opener Shafali Verma also holds her place in sixth place with 725 rating points. Meanwhile, Team India captain Harmanpreet Kaur is in 15th place in this format's rankings with 638 rating points.
