New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The central government has once again clarified its stand today regarding sports relations between India and Pakistan. According to the big announcement made by the government, no bilateral series will be played between India and Pakistan. Under this decision, neither the Indian team will tour Pakistan nor the Pakistani team will be allowed to come to India for a bilateral series.

Giving information, a senior official of the Sports Ministry said that there is no question of restoring bilateral sports relations with Pakistan and there has been no change in India's policy. However, multi-nation events like Asia Cup and ICC tournaments have been kept out of this. Indian teams will participate in these tournaments, but the condition will be that they should be organized at a third or neutral venue.

The official clarified, "Indian teams and players will participate in all international tournaments in which Pakistani teams or players are involved. Similarly, Pakistani teams and players will also be allowed to play in multi-nation tournaments held in India." After this decision, it has become clear that cricket lovers will now get to see the exciting clash between India and Pakistan only on big platforms like ICC tournaments or Asia Cup.
