New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The Indian women's cricket team enjoyed a beautiful train journey while travelling from London to Newcastle for the third ODI against England. The final match of the series between the two teams will be played on Tuesday at the Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street.

Ahead of the ODI series decider, the Indian women's team enjoyed a comfortable and pleasant train journey to Newcastle. It was a memorable relaxing moment for the visiting team. Meanwhile, some players and support staff were playing Ludo, while some were enjoying the journey by reading books. BCCI shared a video on X, in which Richa Ghosh said, "This is our last journey of this tour. After this everyone will go their separate ways. So this (train journey) will be a special memory."

Team physio Akanksha Satyavanshi said, "Every day of the England tour was a memorable day. It was a 35-day tour. During this time we did not even realize that this tour was about to end." The Indian women's cricket team won the five-match T20 series against England 3-2.

India won the first match of the T20 series by 97 runs, after which it won the next match by 24 runs. England retaliated in the third T20 match and won by five runs, after which India won the fourth match by six wickets and captured the series. However, England managed to win the fifth match of the series by five wickets.

After this, India won the first match of the ODI series by four wickets.

Team India had a great opportunity to win the ODI series by winning the second match of the series, but in the rain-affected second ODI match, England won by eight wickets on the basis of 'Duckworth-Lewis rule'.
