New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Indian cricket team's experienced batsman Cheteshwar Pujara has announced his retirement from all formats of cricket. Pujara, who has been out of the Test team for a long time, informed about his decision by posting on the social media platform X.


Pujara wrote, "Wearing the Indian jersey, singing the national anthem and giving my best every time on the field has been an unforgettable experience for me. But as it is said, everything has an end, so I have decided to retire from all forms of Indian cricket."


Pujara made his Test debut in 2010

against Australia. With his excellent technique and patient batting, he soon became an important player in the Indian team. After Rahul Dravid, he was called the "Test wall". He has been counted among India's reliable Test batsmen.
