IPL 2026 second phase schedule released, matches in 12 stadiums

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu):– The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the schedule for the second phase of IPL 2026. The remaining 50 league matches will be played from April 13 to May 24 across 12 venues in the country. The tournament begins on March 28, with the schedule for the first 20 matches already released earlier.
The second phase will take place in cities including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Dharamsala, Raipur, and New Chandigarh. It will kick off on April 13 in Hyderabad with a match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals. As the league progresses, teams will compete across multiple venues to secure a spot in the playoffs.
High-profile clashes include Chennai Super Kings facing Mumbai Indians on April 23 in Mumbai and again on May 2 in Chennai. The phase will feature eight double-headers, with matches scheduled at 3:30 PM and 7:30 PM. Punjab Kings will host games in New Chandigarh and Dharamsala, Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur, and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Bengaluru and Raipur. The league stage will conclude on May 24 with Kolkata Knight Riders taking on Delhi Capitals.
