New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu)- Former Indian cricketer has claimed that Indian cricket team's fast bowler Bumrah can say goodbye to Test after the England series. When Jasprit Bumrah was going on the England tour, everyone's eyes were on him. It was believed that if India has to win the series then it is important for Bumrah to perform well. However, Bumrah did not appear in the form that was expected in this series.

Former Indian batsman Mohammad Kaif has made a sensational revelation in one of his videos that Bumrah may say goodbye to Test cricket. Kaif said in a video on Instagram that Bumrah will say goodbye to Test cricket in the coming times because his body is not supporting him. Kaif said, "Jasprit Bumrah, I think you may not see him playing in the upcoming Test matches and he may even retire. He is struggling with his body. He is bowling slow balls. Speed was not visible in this Test match and he is an honest man. If he feels that I am not able to give 100 percent for the country, I am not able to win the match, I am not able to take wickets, then he will himself refuse, this is my gut feeling." He said, “It is a different matter that we are not getting wickets but we are bowling at the speed of 125-130 and the one wicket we got was caught by the keeper diving forward. Fit Bumrah bhai gets the wicket out here (keeper catches the catch on his chest). The ball goes zipping at such a speed. The batsman does not feel the wind, whether it is Root or Ben Stokes, let anyone come. He is such a bowler who can get the batsman out whenever he wants.”

Let us tell you that Bumrah did not look very effective in this series. One reason for this is that he did not get support from the other end. The same situation was seen during the Australia tour as well. On the England tour, he has completed a five-wicket haul in two innings, but both the matches were not won. In the fourth Test match being played at Old Trafford in Manchester, Bumrah remained ineffective till three days of play. His edge looked blunt and hence the England batsmen scored a lot of runs.
