London (The Uttam Hindu): Indian fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah took five wickets in the first innings of the Lord's Test against England. Bumrah credits his previous tour of England for this, which taught him a lot.

Jasprit Bumrah was in great form on the second day of the third Test. He dismissed Ben Stokes (44), Joe Root (104) and Chris Woakes (0) in the first session. Apart from this, the Indian fast bowler dismissed Brydon Carse, who scored a half-century for England, before which he had sent Jofra Archer to the pavilion. With this, Jasprit Bumrah's name was also registered on the 'Honours Board' of Lord's.

Regarding his brilliant performance, Jasprit Bumrah said, “During the last tour, I thought a lot about the slope here, but it was of no use. This time I put that thought out of my mind, which also benefited me. In these hot weather conditions, it is most important to use the new ball as much as possible. This did not happen last time, this was the biggest difference.”

Bumrah expressed happiness over his name being inscribed on the 'Honours Board' at Lord's. Bumrah said that this is a memory he would like to share with his son.

Jasprit Bumrah said smilingly, "The truth is that I was tired. I can't jump around like I did at 21. I am happy that I was able to contribute to the team. It feels good to see the name on the honors board. This is something I will tell my son when he grows up."

Jasprit Bumrah bowled 27 overs in the first innings of the third Test against England, taking five wickets for 74 runs. England were all out for 387 runs.

After this, India batted and scored 145 runs for the loss of three wickets by the end of the second day. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 13 runs, Shubman Gill scored 16 runs, while Karun Nair returned to the pavilion after scoring 40 runs.

After this, KL Rahul took charge of the team. This opening batsman has scored 53 runs, while Rishabh Pant is unbeaten on 19 runs.
