New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): In a thrilling match of Asia Cup, India defeated Pakistan by seven wickets. Pakistan is unable to tolerate this defeat and its wounds are once again reminding of Operation Sindoor. After the match, the Indian team refused to shake hands with the Pakistani players. The irritation in Pakistan is clearly visible due to this attitude of Team India.

According to Pakistani newspaper Dawn, Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif called it shameful and said that India had suffered defeat and international humiliation in the May conflict which cannot be forgotten by such "cheap dramas". He also claimed that the Pakistani army had shot down six Indian aircraft in that conflict.

Pakistan is considering the Indian team's decision of not shaking hands with Pakistani players before returning to the dressing room as an insult. Meanwhile, Indian T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav said in a press conference that some things are above sportsmanship. He was referring to Pakistan's role in the Pahalgam terror attack. Suryakumar's statement further increased the frustration of Pakistani leaders and terrorist leaders.
