Smriti Mandhana faces another concern as fiance Palash Muchhal is taken to hospital

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The wedding of Indian women's cricket team vice-captain and star Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal has been postponed. The decision to postpone the wedding was taken after Smriti's father, Shrinivas Mandhana, showed symptoms similar to a heart attack. Smriti's manager said that as soon as her father showed these heart attack-like symptoms, an ambulance was sent to the wedding venue and Smriti's father was immediately taken to the nearest hospital.

Due to this medical emergency, the wedding rituals had to be put on hold, and Smriti refused to continue with the wedding ceremony in her father's absence. Now, it has come to light that Smriti's fiancé, Palash Muchhal, also fell ill and was taken to the hospital.

According to a report, Palash Muchhal was taken to a private hospital due to a viral infection and increased acidity. His condition is stable. After treatment, Palash has now left the hospital for the hotel. Meanwhile, Dr. Naman Shah, a member of Smriti Mandhana's family, said that his (Smriti's father) health condition is being monitored. If Shrinivas Mandhana's health improves, he may be discharged from the hospital today.
