New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu) : The Supreme Court has cancelled the bail of wrestler Sushil Kumar in a murder case and ordered him to surrender within a week. A bench of Justice Sanjay Karol and Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra quashed the March 4 order of the Delhi High Court in which Kumar was granted bail.

Kumar and others are accused of carrying out a murderous attack on Dhankhar at the Chhatrasal Stadium in May 2021 over an alleged property dispute. Two of Dhankhar's friends were also injured in the attack. The judge said Kumar will have to surrender within a week.

Meanwhile, Sushil Kumar had returned to his duty in Northern Railway after being released on bail, but now he will have to surrender within 7 days and go to jail.
