Unbelievable Deal: Watch World Cup Live for Just Rs 100, Tickets Out Now

Dubai (The Uttam Hindu): The International Cricket Council (ICC) made such an announcement for the Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 that every cricket lover is surprised and happy to hear it. The sale of World Cup tickets has started from Thursday, September 4 and you will be surprised to know that you can watch a World Cup match for just Rs 100. This price is the lowest ever in the history of any global tournament of ICC.
This time the ICC has kept the ticket prices at a record low to promote women's cricket. The starting price of tickets in the 4-day pre-sale starting from September 4 is just Rs 100 (US$ 1.14). If we compare this with the last Women's World Cup held in New Zealand in 2022, the cheapest ticket for adults there was around Rs 850, which was eight and a half times more expensive than this time.
The 13th edition of the Women's Cricket World Cup is being played under the joint hosting of India and Sri Lanka. The opening match of the tournament will be held in Guwahati on 30 September, while the final match will be played on 2 November. This time 8 teams are participating in the tournament, which include India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand, Bangladesh, England and South Africa.
Considering security reasons and relations between the two countries, the Pakistan team will play all its league matches in Sri Lanka. An interesting condition is that if the Pakistani team reaches the final, then the final match will also be held in Sri Lanka. If Pakistan is eliminated before the final, then the grand finale will be played in India.
This time the ICC has not only made the tickets cheaper but has also made a record-breaking increase in the prize money. The prize money for the tournament has been fixed at US$ 13.88 million (about Rs 115 crore), which is four times more than the 2022 edition.
