Harare (The Uttam Hindu): Vaibhav Suryavanshi broke several records with his historic innings in the final of the Under-19 World Cup 2026. He scored 175 runs off just 80 balls against England at the Harare Sports Club on Friday. His innings included 15 sixes and as many fours.

With this, Vaibhav became the player with the most sixes in the Under-19 World Cup, the fastest to score 150 in the Under-19 World Cup, the player with the most innings in the Under-19 World Cup final, the batsman with the most sixes in the final, and the player with the most sixes in the Under-19 World Cup. Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 175 runs in this match. This is the record for the highest individual score in an Under-19 World Cup final. Unmukt Chand is second on this list, having scored an unbeaten 111 runs for India against Australia in 2012. Australia's Brett Williams (108), England's Stephen Peters (107), and India's Manjot Kalra (101*) are third, fourth, and fifth on the list, respectively.
