The latest incident involves Pakistani fast bowler Haris Rauf. During the match, as the Indian batsmen continued to rain runs on him, Rauf looked towards the Indian fans in the stands and gestured as if he was shooting down a fighter plane. This was the same gesture that Pakistan had made after "Operation Sindoor" when falsely claiming to have shot down several Indian aircraft. Following this, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) shared a video on social media, offering a sarcastic and forceful response to Haris Rauf's actions. The video first showed Rauf making the gesture, followed by scenes of the massive blasts that occurred in Pakistan during "Operation Sindoor."

It should be noted that in May 2025, India launched "Operation Sindoor" in response to Pakistan's aggressive actions. This operation lasted from May 7th to 10th. During this period, Indian fighter jets, missiles, and drones destroyed several Pakistani targets.
