WWE legend and 13-time world heavyweight champion announces retirement

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): John Cena's WWE journey has come to an end. The 48-year-old Cena bid farewell to his 23-year-long career with a loss to Gunther in his final match on Saturday. Cena looked quite dejected at the time of his retirement. John Cena had started his final match in excellent fashion. He even lifted Gunther onto his shoulders and threw him into the ring. At that point, it seemed Cena would bid farewell to his career with a victory, but as the match progressed, Cena's position in the match deteriorated. He suddenly appeared extremely weak. Sleeper locks weakened him in the final moments. In the final stages of the match, it seemed as if Cena had given up, but ultimately, he suffered defeat. The match was so thrilling that the audience remained glued to their seats. This was the first time in nearly 20 years that John Cena had tapped out in a match.
